Mystic Jewel Mandala (D028)

Mystic Jewel Mandala

During my stroke recovery, I returned to the Mandala form, focusing not just on the art, but on the physical healing and recovering range of motion in my affected left hand.

I stood in a place of darkness, surrounded by crystallized, disconnected fragments of my past. I felt like a stranger to my own internal topography, trying to make sense of the confusion that remained when my mind came back online.

I reverted to my witchy teachings—casting a circle to create a manageable space. I grabbed the shards of a life lost and used the principle of Kintsugi—the Japanese art of golden repair—to bring the remnants of who I was into alignment with who I am now, all through the act of Mandala Creation.

Behold, the Mystic Jewel Mandala! Resurrected from the breaking point of my corporate past, it is reforged, reformed, and re-ignited. This piece transforms that struggle, embracing my old Self on a new path, Centered on Timeless Wonder.

Add the light of the Mystic Jewel to guide your own path through the darkness. Create what splendor you can, wherever you are. Your own jewel awaits to illuminate the way. Time to shine, exactly as you are.
